Panel discussion with keynote I Festsaal im WEST & LIVE-STREAM

7 p.m.: Keynote on urban parterre, first floor, street, courtyard and their transitions with Angelika Psenner (Vienna University of Technology)

The professor at the Vienna University of Technology researches and teaches urban design, urban planning and development, as well as urban structures in a historical context. Her scientific work has received numerous awards.

7:30 pm: Panel discussion on ‘Opportunity spaces for Vienna – using vacancies creatively’

What does it take to increase the use of vacant properties in Vienna? What are current practices and strategies for dealing with vacancies in the city? What are the challenges and what framework conditions facilitate projects?
