Started as an interim use, the F23 cultural initiative has been doing a great job in the former coffin production facility in Breitenfurter Straße in Atzgersdorf since 2015. Since 2022, the listed part of the large factory has been renovated and converted.
The F23 cultural initiative recently moved into new premises in the new building right next to the listed remains of the former factory – and has thus taken another step towards creating a small museum quarter in the south of Vienna.
F23 New building: studios and exhibition spaces
Around the first floor of the new building, 1,650 m² are available for creative use in the form of an event hall designed as a room-in-room, a work and exhibition hall, a dance hall with a swinging dance floor, a dance rehearsal room and several studios. As a cultural anchor center, the F23 offers the opportunity to use rooms for cultural events, exhibitions, workshops and much more at a reasonable price.
In addition, studio space is always available on a temporary basis. Favorable conditions have also been made possible here. Viewings are possible on request from the operators.
The declared aim of F23 is to make art and culture possible and tangible in all its forms, while always keeping the social component in mind.
