Building Communities – Leerstand kooperativ nutzen 

 

On Wednesday, 2nd April 2025, Kreative Räume Wien will host the symposium ‘Building Communities: Using Vacancy Cooperatively’ at the Semmelweisklinik Art and Cultural Center in Vienna’s 18th district. A field trip on 3rd April 2025 completes the 2-day programme.

Best-practice examples from Vienna, Berlin, Hamburg and Zurich will help us understand how community-organised spaces are created, how pioneering uses can be structurally embedded in urban developments, and which strategies have proven successful in securing affordable spaces for creative and community-oriented uses.

The symposium will feature insightful keynotes, a field trip and a panel discussion.
